Well it has finally happened, all you anglers can now throw your line across the magnificent waters of the Cascapedia River. Yes at this very moment there are fishermen out there eager to be the first to catch a salmon this year. According to Darlene, who works for the Cascapedia Society, three of the private camps as well as the Society guides have fishermen on the river this morning. I will keep you informed as to how the day goes.
The Cascapedia River Museum is opened as well and we will be celebrating our 10th Anniversary this year. It is unbelievable how this small community museum has developed and grown over the past ten years and we will be celebrating this accomplishment throughout the upcoming season.
